Siti top singer in Malaysia in 2020 again: Congratulations!!!

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s No.1 entertainer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is once again Malaysia’s most-streamed local artiste of Spotify.

In a statement today, the audio streaming and media services provider announced that Siti had regained the top spot amongst Malaysian artistes, having dropped to the third position behind Sabahan hip-hop group K-Clique and singer-songwriter Faizal Tahir last year.
Joining Siti, who also made it to Spotify’s top spot in 2017 and 2018, was K-Clique at No.2, Faizal at No.3, hip-hop singer YonnyBoii at No.4 and Naim Daniel at fifth place.

Siti’s “win” was part of Spotify’s annual top artistes list, Spotify Wrapped 2020, which unveils the top artistes, albums and songs, listened to by 320 million people worldwide.
South Korean pop group BTS topped the list of Malaysia’s most streamed international artistes, followed by Justin Bieber, Blackpink, Lauv and Taylor Swift.
The most streamed female artistes were Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Halsey and Dua Lipa, while the most streamed male artistes were Bieber, Lauv, The Weeknd, Jay Chou and Post Malone.
BTS, Blackpink, Maroon 5, Twice and The Chainsmokers were the most streamed groups.

Malaysia’s most streamed songs were Before You Go and Someone You Love by Lewis Capaldi, How You Like That by Blackpink, Death Bed (Coffee For Your Head) by Powfu and Beabadoobee, and Blinding Lights by The Weeknd.

Malaysia’s most streamed local songs were Sakit by YonnyBoii and Zyn Akal, Mimpi by Alyph and K-Clique, Sumpah by Naim Daniel, Peluang Kedua by Nabila Razali, and Takdir Tercipta by Adira Suhaimi and Hafiz Suip.
