Rescuers have found the dismembered body of a man who was attacked and dragged away by a crocodile at a river at Kampung Segaliud in Kinabatangan, Sabah, last night.
Kinabatangan fire and rescue station chief Hairi Otuh said the body of Rayyan Abdullah, 28, was found floating in the river at 9.55am, about 500m from where he was attacked.
“The victim’s arms and legs were severed,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.

The body was handed over to police for further action.
This morning, Hairi said the fire and rescue department received a report at about 8.20pm yesterday, after Rayyan’s father witnessed the incident.
He said Rayyan was attacked while casting a net in the river for prawns. Rescuers arrived at the scene at 9.10pm and launched a search.
