President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make working visit to China on April 24-27 to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing.

More than 40 heads of state and government, representatives of international and regional organizations are expected to partake in the Forum. The agenda of the event includes further deepening of economic cooperation, expansion of cooperation in search of new long-term growth sources, promotion of green economy and innovations, implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the region.

President Mirziyoyev will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu to discuss ways of further expansion of bilateral ties and strategic partnership, regional and international issues.

The President of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral talks with heads of delegations attending the Forum.
