During a special interview “Setahun Bersama Kerajaan Madani: Tiwikrama Perdana Menteri”, he said that the government would examine the need to do so based on its experience in the past year.

“Since it has been a year, we can reevaluate, but this is unfair. There are people governing for 10 and 20 years, therefore I believe that one year is still considered too early.

“The ministers should be given opportunities to improve, including myself as Prime Minister.

“But if there are adjustments that need to be made based on our one year experience, we will do it, which also includes adding on more if needed,” he said today.

He also refused to be overly content with the performance of the unity government’s ministers, despite his overall satisfaction with the government’s achievements.

He said that the nation’s current advancements in numerous disciplines were the direct consequence of cooperation among members of the unity government.

At the same time, Anwar wants the unity government’s performance to be evaluated from a variety of perspectives based on Malaysia’s development potential and capacity.
