President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has dismissed the government, Akorda reported.
“The resignation of the government is accepted according to the article 70 of the Constitution,” the president’s order reads.
Roman Sklyar will perform duties of the Prime Minister temporarily.
The government members will perform their duties until approval of the new government.
Alikhan Smailov was appointed Prime Minister of Kazakhstan in January 2022.
