PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, showed their singing prowess as they entertained the crowd at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House here at the Seri Perdana Complex today.

The prime minister and his wife took to the stage and belted out a couple of classic Hari Raya songs in front of a packed audience.

Najib and Rosmah, looking resplendent in matching maroon baju melayu and baju kurung, also sang the popular Malay song ‘Anak Kampung’, much to the delight of the crowd.

The prime minister expressed his gratitude to the crowd for making it to the Hari Raya open house.

“We thank you for taking the time to attend despite the long journey for some of you.

“We hope the warm relationship with the people will be even stronger in years to come,” said Najib, in wishing the crowd Selamat Hari Raya.

Earlier, the prime minister and his wife also cut a Hari Raya cake to commemorate the event.

An estimated 70,000 people attended the open house which was held from 10am to 4pm
