nterim president of Uzbekistan offers to create 4 more free economic zones in country
Four free economic zones are planned to be created in Samarkand, Bukhara, Ferghana and Khorezm regions of Uzbekistan.
The project of interim president Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been proposed for discussion on the single portal of interactive public services.
The goal of the new free economic zones is attracting foreign and local investments for creation of plants on processing mineral resources and agricultural products, effective use of the industrial and resource potential of 4 regions.
There are 3 free economic zones, including Navoi, Jizzakh and Angren, in Uzbekistan currently.
