Shanghai Cooperation Organizations’ summit ends in Bishkek
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit adopted the Bishkek Declaration on June 14 in Bishkek.
8 heads of SCO member states and 4 heads of SCO observer states participated in the summit.
The heads of SCO member states signed 21 documents, including decision to approve the concept of cooperation of the SCO member states in the field of digitalization and information and communication technologies; decision to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the World Tourism Organization; decision to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the Astana International Finance Center; decision to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations; decision to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the Secretariat of the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat, the World Tourism Organization and Memorandum of Understanding between the SCO Secretariat and the Astana International Finance Center,and roadmap for further actions of the SCO-Afghanistan Contact Group were also inked.
