Bishkek (AKIpress) – mining-boom-image TerraCom recommences mining operations at its BNU coal mine in the South Gobi in Mongolia, according to The Courier Mail.
This follows from the announcement last week that a binding long form definitive offtake agreement had been executed with a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kingho Group, one of the largest private coal companies in China, for a 5.5-year offtake of hard coking coal produced from the BNU coal mine which provides for an estimated 7.5Mt of coal sales.
TerraCom has been implementing an alternative supply chain for its BNU Coal Mine in 2016.
