Uzbek Foreign Ministry Delegation takes part in OIC executive committee meeting
The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan took part in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Executive Committee meeting in OIC’s Permanent Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
The parties traded opinions on the current agenda, particularly on the date of the Emergency Meeting of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
On November 4-5, the Uzbek delegation held bilateral talks with the Director General of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry Jeddah Branch, Mohamed Ahmed Al-Tayeb, and Acting OIC Secretary-General Abdullah Alim.
The parties discussed the practical issues of the 43rd OIC Council of Foreign Ministers session under Uzbekistan’s Presidency and perspectives for bilateral relations.
