Uzbekistan sends humanitarian aid to Tajikistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoev ordered to send humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Tajikistan for the victims of natural disasters caused by snow avalanches in the mountainous regions of this country.
The total amount of humanitarian cargo to be transferred to the people of a neighboring state, is nearly 60 tons. It includes food, medicines, building materials, coal, warm clothing and other necessities.
The Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan are tasked to ensure coordination of works on formation, delivery and transfer of humanitarian aid to the Tajik side.
The decision of Uzbekistan to provide humanitarian aid to Tajikistan is another example of the relations between our countries and peoples, based on traditional friendship and mutual support.
