Uzbekistan, South Korea sign agreements for $12 billion
AKIPRESS.COM – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and South Korean President Moon Jae-in signed the joint declaration on strategic partnership, the Uzbek president’s press service reports.
Following the talks the two leaders held today in the Quqsaroy Residence, the governments and ministries of two countries signed documents on encouragement and mutual protection of investments, peaceful space research, cooperation in the sphere of science, technologies and innovations, establishment of the Uzbek-Korean Health Care Cooperation Center.
The agreements were also signed on implementation of programs and projects in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical cooperation for more than $12 billion.
President Moon Jae-in invited President Mirziyoyev to visit South Korea at any time convenient for him.
