Editor’s Note:
In sprawling cotton fields of Luntai county, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, large scale cotton harvesters shuttle back and forth across the farmland in mid-October. The machines complete precise picking, compressing and baling in one continuous process. Modern mechanized operations make the cotton harvest fast and well organized.
