Amendments to agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

The Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security has passed the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on order of stay of Kyrgyz citizens in Kazakhstan in the second reading on March 7.
The agreement was signed on October 17, 2016.
It allows Kyrgyzstanis to stay in Kazakhstan for up to 30 days without having to register.
In the event of staying for more than 30 days in Kazakhstan, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan must pass registration.
Previously, Kyrgyzstanis travelling Kazakhstan were required to register with the competent authorities after 5 days of stay.
