Beuaty and Fashion Week in Uzbek Capital

The Youth Palace has become the venue for the opening of the most anticipated event of this autumn – the Tashkent Fashion Week 2016. All the attention of the industry professionals and the residents of the capital get focused on the most interesting events.

Particular emphasis this year has been placed on the professional direction. The main goal of the Tashkent Fashion Week was the promotion and further development of the Uzbek fashion industry bоth in Uzbekistan and abroad. Special attention is paid to the development of creative potential and broad prospects for all the designers, as well as discovering new names and the modern expression of the traditions of the East.

At the opening day November 22 the exhibition ‘Uzbek Artistic Fabrics’ was held, which displayed the whole diversity of the national textile. A fashion show of traditional Uzbek costume was held that evening as well, which showcased the traditional outfits of all regions of Uzbekistan.

The International scientific-practical conference “Innovations and modern technology in the fashion-industry” was organized within the Fashion Week addressing the actual problems existing today in the fashion industry. Presentations were made by Honorary President of the Chamber of Italian Fashion Mario Boselli, President of the Italian Chamber of Buyers Mario Dell’Oglio, Chairman of the Latvian Clothing Chamber Dit Danos, CEO of the Shanghai Garment Trade Association Song Jinhai, chief stylist of the Tashkent Fashion Week from Korea Yonchkhon Ho, as well as foreign designers and local experts.

On the same evening, a fashion show of young designers #beyoung was held. Talented designers, who just starting out in this industry, but whom already have something to show to the public, presented their collections.

The selection of participants for the show was very strict. Collections were prepared with the support of professional designers and teachers of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.

This year the organizers decided to experiment and presented to the public two full-fledged youth shows. The audience was amazed by the daring looks in the national style, and ‘haute couture’ creative solutions, as well as modern and unconventional trends.

November 24, local designer Dina Saifi, who creates a collection of leather and fur, conducted master class for professional designers, university students and students of academic lyceums and professional colleges. In the evening, the fashion connoisseurs enjoyed two bright fashion shows by designers Dilnoz Erkinova and Dilnoza Umurzakova.

The entire day November 25 will be devoted to the author shows by domestic and foreign designers. Designers from Italy, China and Uzbekistan will present their collections.

Two master classes will be held on November 26 by professionals from Italy and China. The same evening the visitors could attend unforgettable Tashkent Fashion Performance show, which will display the most colorful and unusual collections of Uzbek and foreign designers. It will be a kind of summary of all fashion shows and collections presented during the Tashkent Fashion Week. The audience expects a true celebration of style, fashion and beauty.

The fashion industry representatives from Italy and Kuwait will conduct master classes on November 27. The Traditional Festival “National Dress’ will be held in the evening. The organizers assure that it will be one of the most exciting events of the week. The national and at the same time modern and unique collections will be presented in the festival.

This year the Tashkent Fashion Week will be attended by representatives of the fashion industry of Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia and Tajikistan. The Professional Fashion Week promises to be a feast of contemporary and national costume, which will be imprinted in the minds of participants and spectators for a long time. It also provides a unique opportunity to fruitful international cooperation in the world fashion industry.
