Hydropower, mining, tourism, agricultural sector, food, processing and light industry were named prospective areas for further Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation by the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrokhim.
Mr Ibrokhim, addressing the 15th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Tajik intergovernmental commission in Bishkek on November 22, said that the above-mentioned sectors have good potential for mutual cooperation yet to be unlocked.
“Having common borders and communications, we can expand our transit potential, which can open up an access to other countries for our peoples,” he said.
