Kyrgyzstan actively working on start of construction of China—Kyrgyzstan—Uzbekistan railroad
Practical implementation of energy and transport projects will become one of the priority directions of trade and economic cooperation, said Kyrgyz PM Sooronbai Jeenbekov remarking at the 13th Economic Cooperation Organisation Summit in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Kyrgyzstan is actively working on the start of the construction of the China—Kyrgyzstan—Uzbekistan railroad, which will surely give a powerful momentum to the trade ties, said Jeenbekov.

He also highlighted the CASA-1000 project’s importance, calling it a crucial achievement of the regional cooperation in the field of energy.
Kyrgyzstan fully supports the intentions of the Economic Cooperation Organisation member states to reform and boost the organisation’s activities, and making it a reliable and mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation instrument.
