Kyrgyzstan and Russia Sign $270 Million in Agreements at Issyk-Kul Forum -  The Times Of Central Asia

Fourteen agreements and memorandums were signed at the 8th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum held on August 6, 2026, with seven investment projects totaling $545.1 million.

The largest projects include the construction of a $250 million solar power plant in Naryn region and a 100 MW wind power plant in Issyk-Kul region worth $126 million, with financing support from the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the Eurasian Development Bank.

Other agreements cover the construction of an $88.9 million oil and fat processing plant, a $20 million logistics complex, modernization of railway equipment facilities worth $6 million, and the creation of a $4.2 million virtual mobile network operator in Kyrgyzstan.

The forum participants also signed agreements on trade, economic, scientific, cultural, and social cooperation between Kyrgyz regions and Russian regions, as well as friendship agreements between several cities.
