KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s daughter, Nooryana Najwa Najib, shared a heartfelt birthday message for her father, expressing hope for his recovery as he prepares to undergo a heart procedure.

In a Facebook post today, she described Najib as a symbol of resilience, saying his spirit remained positive, his heart generous and his faith unwavering despite the challenges he has faced.

“Happy Birthday, Daddy/Bossku.

“Even as you prepare for your heart procedure, your spirit remains positive, your heart generous, and your faith unwavering.

“I will always be your biggest cheerleader. We keep willing each other on, never giving up hope and never letting go of the dream that one day we’ll be reunited again,” she wrote.

She also prayed for Najib’s health, protection and strength, ending her message with: “Happy Birthday, Daddy. We love you, always.”

Najib later responded on his Facebook page, thanking supporters for their prayers and birthday wishes.

“Thank you, guys, for the prayers and birthday wishes.

“I’m still very touched that there are people who remember me.

“May we always be under His protection, may all good prayers be answered, may our sustenance be abundant, and may we be blessed with good health,” he wrote.

Last week, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor revealed that Najib was scheduled to undergo a medical procedure to remove plaque from a blood vessel.

Rosmah appealed to the public to pray for the procedure to go smoothly and thanked friends and supporters for their continued prayers and encouragement for the family.
