President of Turkey arrives in Samarkand
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 17 November arrived to Uzbekistan, UzA reported. Deputy prime minister Adham Ikramov welcomed Turkish leader at the Samarkand airport.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for 18 November. Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the resting place of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and pay tribute to his memory.
During the meeting with Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the sides will discuss the current state and perspectives of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey. They will also exchange views on important regional and international issues.
The delegation of Turkey includes two vice prime ministers, foreign minister, minister of economy, and minister of energy and natural resources.
