US trade mission to visit Uzbekistan with specifics
U.S. Certified Trade Mission to visit Uzbekistan from June 18-20
The preparation for the first U.S. Certified Trade Mission to Uzbekistan was discussed at the meeting with Matthew Edwards, Director of Eurasia Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce, on June 7 at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington D.C.
The visit of the Certified Trade Mission from June 18-20 is organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce. American Chamber of Commerce, U.S-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce in line with the agreements reached during the talks between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross in October 2018 in Tashkent, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The Trade Mission will include around 20 major American companies active in production of consumer goods, health care, pharmaceuticals, construction, geology, metallurgy, aviation, logistics, agriculture, animal husbandry, agricultural machine building, IT, education.
A business forum, G2B and B2B meetings will be held during visit of the Trade Mission
