Uzbekistan’s Oksana Chusovitina makes it to Guinness World Records list

The oldest Olympic gymnast (female) is Oksana Chusovitina from Uzbekistan, who at the age of 41 years 56 days competed at the 2016 Olympic Games, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 14 August 2016, reported the Guinness World Records website.
Throughout Oksana’s gymnastics career, she has competed at a record-breaking seven consecutive Olympic Games. She has represented the Unified Olympics team (1992), Germany (2008 and 2012), and Uzbekistan (1996-2004 and 2016).
Oksana’s first Olympics was in Barcelona in 1992. She previously competed internationally for the Soviet Union and Germany before switching back to Uzbekistan.
