Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sooronbay Jeenbekov on his appointment Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, the department of information support of the Kyrgyz government reported.

I want to emphasize the positive trends in the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations, a vivid example of which were the recent visits of the delegation of Kyrgyzstan to the city of Andijan, and of Uzbekistan – to the city of Osh. Huge optimism inspires a constructive negotiating process on the legal registration of the line of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border,” the congratulation said.
