Central Asian Leaders Hold Summit in Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov published photographs with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, highlighting the region’s contribution to strengthening peace and mutual trust.
“Today, together, we once again proved that Central Asia is a region of peace and mutual trust, ready to host world-class events. I express my gratitude to my colleagues for their support and participation,” the head of state wrote.
In recent days, the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake hosted the state visits of the presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as an informal meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
The presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan also attended the opening ceremony of the Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship. The tournament is being held in Central Asia for the first time.
