Trump to host Xi Jinping for summit in Florida, report says
US President Donald Trump will host President Xi Jinping in Florida next month for a lowering-the-temperature summit with vast economic and security implications, US media portal Axios reported on Monday.
The report, citing US officials, said the summit would be held at Trump’s lavish Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, and was tentatively set for April 6 and 7.

No golf was planned during the summit of the leaders, which would mostly be a working session, according to officials familiar with the planning.
Chinese officials said earlier that the Sino-US relationship had stabilised, with Foreign Minister Wang Yi saying good news about a summit between the two leaders could be expected soon.
