Eurasian Economic Union and Uzbekistan to more closely cooperate in more than 10 areas

The joint action plan between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026 was signed at the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan.

The document was signed by Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintaev and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

The parties will deepen cooperation in the following spheres: customs and technical regulation, economy, finances, trade policy, competition and antimonopoly regulation, public procurement, industry, energy and transport, informatization and macroeconomics, application of sanitary, veterinary and quarantine phytosanitary measures, protection of consumer rights.

Implementation of joint actions in a broad range of areas of cooperation will further intensify trade and economic ties between the Eurasian Economic Union countries and Uzbekistan, Bakytzhan Sagintaev said.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan in turn emphasized importance of practical partnership with the Eurasian Economic Commission in implementation of multilateral projects.
