Whether you call it the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year is the perfect way for Chinese (and part-Chinese) families to mark new beginnings and bond with their loved ones. It is also a time for raking in tons of good luck, as evidenced by the abundance of beliefs and traditions associated with the holiday.
